This is a backlogged review from 2019, but I wanted to make sure all of them were here before posting the final review!
DESCRIPTION

OMG OMG OMG. I KNEW IT.
There were subtle hints dropped and I had a feeling the story might go this direction but damn, what a bombshell! Sierra has done it again.
This book will mess you up, it absolutely messed me up. My favorite part was getting to learn Auden and Saint’s backstory from when they’re teens and discovering why they had their falling apart so many years before. We also see a softer side to Auden and see some of his walls break down in his quest to finally have and keep Saint and Poe at his side.
This sequel is just as haunting and atmospheric and beautifully written as A Lesson in Thorns. It’s truly magical. If you’re shocked at the ending and wanting to scream a little … trust me, you aren’t the only one reeling over that revelation. But stick with it, I think you’ll like how the series ends.
